This Halloween why not do your own make up or make up a friend. You can even get several friends together to help in saving money while getting that great freaky look.
Make yourself scary or make like the walking dead. Any way you do it you will have fun and save money.
Through all of the up coming pages you will find tips and tricks to make you and your friends the scariest or the most interesting in the neighborhood.
The face paint: Obviously this needs to be a special paint as its going to be applied to the skin on mainly children, head on over to your local Craft store to find some starter kits or small starter colors.
These paints come in a huge variety of colors and can generally be purchased either singly in various sized pots or in sets containing a number of different face paints. A few examples from one of the manufacturers (Snazaroo) are shown here.
They can be plain colored face paints, contain glitter to give a sparkle effect, have a pearlescent effect added to them or even some ultra-violet light reflecting paints for the disco nights! This is for those that want to take face painting to the next level, check out, www.wbpa.info and www.bodypainting-festival.com , this is it. These people go to the extremes in art and nothing life threatening.
When starting with face painting you can start with a starter kit that has a number of colors, not a lot of each color but enough so that you might be able to do 1 or 2 faces to start. Get 6 colors to start with that way you will have enough paint to do more than 10 faces. Which will give you some good practice. All depends on what your are going to do, a business or just for fun.
Another new trend is temporary tattoos, they are easy and look Very Real. I personally like to use both for a great effect.
