You’re lucky you had such great weather! I just camped there and [this](http://i.imgur.com/paKU4cm.jpg) was my view the whole time…I couldn’t even tell when I got to the end. Drove another 90 minutes to Neist Point…same thing.

edit: [here are the rest](http://imgur.com/a/qV0vf) from The Quiraing if anyone is interested

What an awesome picture…. different view of landscape in Scotland, always cool when you see something other then the typical look for a certain area.

As ‘pretty’ as this, it’s worth keeping in mind that the British Isles is almost bereft of true wilderness due to overgrazing of the landscape, particularly in upland areas. Sheep and deer have effectively created wildlife deserts. If anyone is interested, this is an excellent site and resource for information and what we can do to help: http://www.rewildingbritain.org.uk

For anyone who wants to visit Skye, the best time of year is April and May, there’s no midgies and the weather is usually better than summer. Alternatively September is ok, but the flying demons are still usually around.

Was just there 3 weeks ago, I hiked right up behind the rock in the forefront on the bottom right. Beautiful view, Isle of Skye landscape was unlike anything I’ve seen. We did Old Man of Storr, Quirang, Fairy Pools, Fairy Glenn, Glen Nevis, Loch Lomand, Steall Waterfall – the highlands are amazing!
