Honestly what is the world coming to? If you can’t trust Reddit with your illegal drug purchases, who can you trust?

The funny thing is if you google steroid sourcing on Reddit, you get a bunch of disaster stories- including people saying the mods of the sourcing sub are corrupt.

But hey, let’s sue Nigeria because its prince ripped me off.

I used a phone to buy bad drugs. How do I sue Alexander Graham bell?

Title: California. Needing surgery after buying bad steroids from a sub on reddit. Admins will not respond.

    Original Post:

    > I ordered steroids from a sub on reddit. The mods verify the sources that they allow to sell to us. I purchased the steroids thinking the products were clean. I ended up with an abscess in my glute which my doctor said was the result of an infection from the bad drug. Now they are going to remove the infected area.
    >
    > What are my legal recourse against reddit? This source only sells to reddit and no where else. Mods claim they verify the source. No one is answering now and medical bills will be high.
    >
    > What are my options against the mods in providing all the information to the source they “verfied”?

I think he has a case, and Spez should be held personally accountable and put in jail for assault. He also needs to be punished for every post in r/shoplifting, every confession made in various r/askreddit threads, and to get off my goddamn lawn!

You know I’ve always wondered why reddit can have subs for shoplifting and drug use and selling drugs without legal repercussions. Just never cared enough to find out.

“They’re registered somewhere that they can do that” makes sense

I get that the guy has no case, but how is that subreddit different from the Silk Road?

He’s on par with the guy that stole drugs from the veterinary clinic, used said drugs, couldn’t cope with the side effects, sold off the remaining batch, then came to LA to see if he could sue

In the UK, it’s legal to import anabolic-androgenic steroids for self-administration (but mail order goods can be seized) and there’s no offence of possession even though they’re Class C drugs. However that doesn’t make it a good idea, because, you know, abscesses, testicle shrinkage, depression and mood alteration, virilisation, etc.

Is it just me or doesn’t this one smell a little bit too much like the tainted Ketamine troll post?

I’m just laughing at legostarcraft getting downvoted to oblivion. The guy can’t take a hint. Medical professionals are telling him that he’s wrong, that his girlfriend (who he hasn’t even asked) wouldn’t tell him that, and that his sources contradict him.

Interesting I just watched a documentary about backpage on sorta the same subject. Not on drugs, but you can’t sue a website for its content. You can not hold a website responsible for its content. It was about families of trafficked children trying to make backpage responsible for their ads.

OP seems like the type of person to call the cops because their dealer stiffed them a bit off their dime bag.

    >>If op was dumb enough not to disinfect the injection site ahead of time, then delayed treatment, I could see this happening.

    >I never disinfect the site, and have been doing this for 17 years and have never suffered an infection.

20+ years and I never use alcohol and I sometimes reuse my own needles. I’ve had skin infections but never one anywhere near where the needles go in.

IIRC, The American Diabetes Association no longer tells you to “disinfect with alcohol” your skin before injecting, or even testing (those lancets make bigger holes than the needles, too).

This is because a) alcohol is drying to the skin, which can make you MORE prone to infections and b) the tiny amount of alcohol in those little pads means that you’re not disinfecting anything — you’re just swirling the dirt around, making it more easy for it to fall into cracks and holes.

Seriously. I know it’s not MedicalAdvice but the stupid medical shit that sometimes shows up there makes my head hurt.

Edit: LOL. “You’ve been a diabetic for 20 years. How dare you think you know how this injecting stuff works!”
